everything smooth
sarita
ever since i was a child i knew i wanted to help others. even though i knew my passion at such a young age, i still struggled through eating disorders and a lack of self love. but i believe that everything that has happened to me, has been for a reason. it has led me here and shaped me to the person i am now.
i took a path that has shown me so much, but the most important thing i've learned, is that there is no "right" way to living life. everyone is born different and truly special. and it's up to us to teach ourselves how to unlearn in a world filled with strict rules. be free and explore every part of you and every version of you. meet and love the souls that have come before you.
"know your roots to grow your roots"

intention
as a woman who takes helping others grow as her ikigai, it's important to realize, in this line of work, forming attachments is very easy. i believe people come into your life that help you become the person that you end up being. you can be grateful for them even if they were never meant to be in your life forever. and others stay in your life forever. no matter what kind of person we are to each other, i will treat everyone with the same kindness, welcoming, and respect

my vision
to create a community filled with mutual support and love. to hold a safe space so people can simply be. where there is connection in food, yoga practices and energy work, to help build habits that help ourselves. i dream of helping people be kinder and more understanding with themselves and each other. along with teaching yoga around the world, showing women true femininity and empowerment within themselves, and find my own path of self-love and security

experiences

Holistic Health Coach
Institute of Integrative Nutrition
my first introduction to alternative medicine. i understood and studied a women’s 28 day cycle compared to a man’s 24 hour cycle, the Ayurvedic lifestyle, the definition of holistic health, invisible illnesses, chinese medicine, biohacking health, yoga, over 50 dietary theories, etc. Studied innovative coaching methods and practical lifestyle choices and differences.
2024
200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher
East + West
this course brought an appreciation and respect for the cultural and spiritual roots of yoga. i was immersed in an unknown culture for a month and left with a different perspective to life. a more effusive approach to everyday life. this is where i found my true love in life, yoga and where i learned to truly hold space. it showed me the wonders of yoga philosophy and taking it outside of the mat.
2024
60-hr Yin Yoga Certification
Yinspiration
i am grateful to have been trained under Jo Phee, part of the first generation of yin yoga teachers. there was an incredible emphasis and connection between chinese medicine, meridian beliefs, and yin yoga. a deep explanation of yin and yang. after this, i will forever be teaching functional yoga, teaching alignment according to a person's skeletal system, not the aesthetics of a pose. not teaching in a way where they mimic me exactly. but in a practice where they feel one with their body
currently i work as a private yoga instructor and balance work between my own hobbies: making calming, reassuring youtube videos, cooking, writing, and reading.
